Here are cards 11 through 20, covering from the Houston Astros to the Oakland A's. There's a good variety of colors in this batch. I think my favorites would have to be the Joe Mauer and Coco Crisp. I do like the James Shields card since the photos is him signing for Rays fans on his first visit back to Tampa after being traded.
I used the exact same Rob Brantly photo for my custom set. Small world. I really like the James Shields card.
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah, some of the lesser known players don't have a ton of photo options. I'm trying to keep from using too many similar photos if possible.
DeleteThat's very true, it's just an example of great minds thinking alike. Although I have often wondered, if great minds think alike, do insane ones think alike as well? It is still a great photo though. Heck, Topps reuses the same photos 20+ times sometimes.
DeleteUgh, I know. I guess it's getting the most out of their photo purchases but if they can't justify buying another image, maybe they should think twice about producing so many products.
DeleteWow - THAT Shields card is gorgeous!!!! I wondered at first when I saw he was at Tropicana if you had just accomplished the best Photoshop job of all time.
ReplyDeleteNah, my photoshop skills aren't that proficient ;)
DeleteThis is more a comment on his consistent swing: I've seen that Mauer card a thousand times before. Great job on the design as always, sir!
