2017 SPIRIT BOX BREAK - PACK 23

293. Paul Clemens

28. Bruce Rondon

92. Aaron Sanchez

175. Tim Beckham

273. Andrew Miller

110. Nick Tropeano

268. Scott Kazmir

65. Drew Hutchison

19. Robert Gsellman (RC)

G64. Brad Boxberger

TL83. Kyle Hendricks - Team Leader (CHC-ERA)

I’m not sure what kind of presence Hendricks has in the hobby right now but I’m guessing it’s on the rise. Not a lot of “value” in this pack but there are some great photos. The Clemens, Miller and Kazmir in particular are rather strong.
Alright, one final pack coming up tomorrow. Looks like it’ll be a good one.

2014 Spirit Base: 736-750

#736 - Francisco Rodriguez, #737 - Chris Colabello, #738 - Carlos Torres
I never understood the K-Rod nickname. Yeah, I get that he got a lot of strikeouts but that doesn't follow the standard procedures for Rod-based nicknames. F-Rod is obviously a non-starter but K-Rod is too big a of a stretch, imo.

#739 - Shane Greene, #740 - Jon Lester, #741 - David Buchanan
If you told me that these three pitched over 400 innings between them this season I woud've been like "Whoa, Jon Lester pitched 350 innings?!"

#742 - Vance Worley, #743 - Shane Robinson, #744 - Jake Goebbert
Goebbert's picture is pretty much perfect for a first baseman. Shows some action, the ball, a clear view of his face, fills the card well. Didn't have to look long for his.

#745 - Travis Ishikawa, #746 - Roenis Elias, #747 - Brad Boxberger
Ishikawa will never have to pay for a drink in San Francisco ever again.

#748 - Luis Sardina, #749 - Marcus Stroman, #750 - Blake Treiner
If not for Jose Abreu, Stroman would be a dark horse AL Rookie of the Year contender.
